I found this book most helpful to learn many aspects of the operating system and to help installing programs. I am a newbee to Blackberrys. These were straight forward expanations.
not only a specific model (Curve orother) but also about other ones.The info is well laid out, and is comprehensive in all aspects.yet not such details to be boring. This book is worth the read, for those interested in knowing a bitmore about these intelligent PDA's. It's a middle-of-the-road guide,so don't expect any "hacks" to be listed time after time in this work.
Just want to make sure people know to check the other Blackberries for Dummies titles to make sure they pick the correct book for their Blackberry.
If you're new to the berry - don't start here. (I'm still looking for that one, I'll keep you posted) It reminds me of the software books written by people who are so knowledgeable about the subject that they've lost their ability to "break it down" for the common folk. This is not a book for beginners. Very, very frustrating and disappointing. If this is for dummies, then I need the one for idiots. Seriously. Hard to find some of the most basic information.
Very easy to maneuver around the book finding what I need to know and ignoring the usual Dummies blather.
